- We do not sell your personal data or track you across other apps.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use 7WEST.

- Date of Birth – to make sure you're 13 or older
- University or College affiliation
- Gender (never shared or displayed)
- App usage, location (approximate), device type, and crash logs
- College start and end date
- College start term
- Major at school

- Verify your eligibility to use the app (e.g., age and student status)
- Recommend relevant posts, events, and student groups
- Improve user experience and app performance
- Ensure platform safety and prevent abuse
- Communicate important service updates or support responses

- We do not track your activity across other websites or apps.
- We do not display your Date of Birth (optionally displayed) or gender publicly.
- We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising.

Any content you post—such as images, discussions, events, or group messages—may be visible to other users on:
- University profile pages
- Public feeds or trending sections
- Organization pages
Content is public by design to encourage open and discoverable interaction among students. Please post responsibly.
5. Account Deletion and Recovery
You may delete your account at any time from your app settings. When you delete your account:
- Your content becomes hidden from public view.
- Your data is retained on our servers and not permanently erased.
- You may recover your account by signing back in at any time.
If we introduce options for permanent deletion in the future, we will inform you and ask for your confirmation before taking action.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure that uses encryption and industry-standard security practices. We retain your data:
- For as long as your account is active
